Phone Purge

I have so many pictures on my phone that I want to document so you get them all here, in one massive post.

Brayden's spelling list from October 2014, so early 2nd grade.

Brayden and Asher both are taking piano lessons. They both love it!
Making a craft at the ward Halloween Party

Macton being adorable

These trees were so incredibly cool! This was taken at B's school.

I always feel so short when I go home.

Incredible sunset over Enumclaw

Uncle Kyle is loved! He is such a great uncle.

Brayden got called an "Ambassador" for his school for the second year in a row. It means that he is a great example, and the school recognizes that. Ambassadors get special privileges like lunch with the Principal once a month, where she asks them their opinions on how they can do things better at the school for the students, etc. It is such an honor. I'm glad that we were able to be there watch him get his certificate, and I'm so grateful we have a son that is such a great leader.

We were in Enumclaw and Macton wanted Grandpa to read to him. Grandpa didn't respond  so Mavi left the book there for when Grandpa woke up.

There was a huge windstorm/blackout in Enumclaw before we got there. We had a lot of fun helping Grandma clean up the yard!

My mountain.

I got to help Natalie get her yard/house ready for her open house. They had so many leaves in their yard! It was fun.

I told you I always feel short when I come home! It doesn't help that she has massive heels on, even though I am standing on my tippy toes!

Brayden was drawing with his cousins and drew this "Weird unicorn turkey." It was so funny, I had to take a picture!

More Fun!

We really just had a lot of fun while Jamie and Amber were here. Jamie had bought the boys this really cool fort making kit. Asher put together this rocket. They have spent so many hours playing in this thing! It's been a blast.

I had to post this picture of Maverick. He was sooo tired, but he wouldn't fall asleep. We were driving home from somewhere and looked like this the entire time.

Tyler got baptized on October 17th. It was such an awesome experience. I'm so glad we got to be there to support him on this special day.

After the baptism, we had a luncheon in the pavilion at the church. There were so many kids there. They all had a blast running around and burning lots of energy!

That evening, Jamie, Amber, Sean and I, and Jamie's friend Crystal went out to the food carts in Portland.

So. Much. Good. Food!

Deep Fried Mac n Cheese Pie

Followed by Salt and Straw!

On Sunday we had panookies for dessert. There was definitely no weight loss happening this week!

While we were making cookies, Maverick snuck up and put his hand on the open oven door. Miraculously, it wasn't a massive burn, and somehow it was the back of his hand that got burned. It was so sad. We dressed it and the next day it looked significantly better. It still took awhile to heal completely, but we are so blessed that it wasn't a bigger injury!

We picked B up from school and somehow they ended up on top of the van. I think Asher climbed up first and the others followed. Fun was had by all!

A week after Jamie and Amber left, Jamie and her sister flew into town for less than 24 hours for a Jason Mraz concert. Jamie, her sister and I met up at this amazing Thai food restaurant. It was definitely "Portland." Artsy, amazingly delicious, and very uniquely decorated!

Silver Falls

While Jamie and Amber were here, we hit up Silver Falls! It was on our list of things we wanted to do before we move away from Oregon.  Jamie served in that area so she was anxious to get back there too. It was perfect that we were able to go together! It was a wet day, but it was still so fun and so beautiful...definitely worth the trip! I'll let the pictures (from my cell phone) do the talking. Just know...that it was amazing!

Jamie Bennett is so cool that she doesn't hug trees. Trees hug her!

Brayden's Testimony

Brayden bore his testimony for the first time yesterday. He walked up to the pulpit and with full confidence said "Hi Everybody. My name is Brayden. I hope you all are having a great day. I just want to let you know that I'm so grateful for prophets. They help get us through the bad times, and allow us to feel so much love. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen". His voice was so strong. It was amazing.

After he was done, he came and sat down next to me. I gave him a huge hug and told him I was so proud of him. I asked him how it felt to share his testimony and he said "Really good." I reminded him that that was the spirit testifying to him that what he had said was true. I assured him that I felt the spirit. And others can feel that spirit as he bears his testimony, and can feel the truth.

It was an incredible moment.

Everett "Kamalani" Bradford Janeway

This past Sunday was a very special day for Everett. We didn't expect it to be, but it was. Auntie Shellie Nangayan is an Auntie in ...
