Today was a great day. It was sunny. We rode bikes to the park. We went to Tee-Ball. We laughed. And smiled. And, my favorite part of the day was capturing the below sequence on camera. This child, My Asher, loves to smile. And he's good at it. However, he is not very fond of the camera, so it is rarely captured. These pictures make my heart dance. and sing. and burst with joy.
Welcome Spring! (maybe?)
Although yesterday was the THIRD day of Spring, we spent the day in 2 inches of snow. The boys had a blast building a snowman and loved the feeling of it on their tongues.
T-Ball
Brayden started T-Ball today. I cannot get over how adorable he is in his little helmet with his mitt. Despite the snow yesterday (post coming) today was bright and sunny, although still a little chilly. It is going to be a FUN season!
Seattle's St. Patty's Day Dash
A few weeks ago, Mom, Lisa, William and I, along with some of Lisa's Laurels (and leaders) all signed up for the Seattle St. Patty's Day Dash. We used it as motivation to get out and run. It worked! (Mostly :) ) We had SO much fun and can't wait to sign up for another race!
This is the Seattle skyline that greeted us at 7:15 the morning of... The typical dark and dreary day!
The Crew!
The Death March. Walking to the starting line... It was so cold and rainy! William was clearly excited :)
I don't know why, but I love this picture. Lacey, Lisa, and McKenzie!
"Sister, Sisters"
At the finish line, in the snow!!
It was snowing a TON by the time we left Seattle. But, we all survived, and Mom kicked our bums. With the exception of William (who ran it in 28 minutes) and Lacey who is a cross country runner, Mom beat everyone else! I couldn't believe how fast she took off at the finish line, and she never slowed down! Mom did the 4 miles in 36.5 minutes, I did it in 38 minutes, and Lisa did it in 39.5 minutes. Next time, I might train harder, just so I can say that my 52 year old mother didn't totally show me up. She's a rock star!
Another Everett Milestone...or 2!
Everett just took 15 steps. That is WAY better than he's ever done, since his max previously was 2!
He figured out today how to get off of the couch without help. He knows to turn around, put his feet first, and slide.
I think my baby is officially no longer a baby.

New Teeth!
Everett cut his two top teeth yesterday. He has been a little bit fussy, but for the most part, he has taken it like a champ! I cannot get over how happy he always is. He isn't afraid of going to new people, and greets everyone with a huge smile, while clapping and waving.
I wish he could stay this age forever!
