Out of this World Pizza

Saturday night Sean and I took Brayden and Asher to "Out of this World Pizza." We had a coupon to get Brayden in for free so we decided to take advantage of it! Dan and Courtney came with us and we had a blast! Here are a bunch of pictures from that evening.
Brayden didn't like walking in the blow up toys. Oh, and his molars are coming in so he is not a happy camper. He always has his hand in his mouth.

Proof that Asher was there!

My Boys

Asher was laying on the floor after a diaper change and Brayden got down on the floor with him. Dad decided he'd get down there as well. I love my boys!!

Brayden isn't really much of a climber. These next few picture illustrate his sheer joy when he realized that he could get up on this chair by himself.

This morning Brayden and I woke up before Sean did and played for a little bit. Brayden knew his dad was still home so he opened the door to the bedroom and wanted me to pick him up into the bed. He crawled under the covers and was so excited to be with Daddy! This is one of the pictures I got...

Milestone

Brayden went to nusery today! He technically isn't 18 months until the 21st (this Friday) but we put him in there anyway. With Sean being in Primary it was hard for me to take care of both of the boys during sunday school and relief society. I don't want Brayden to get used to us being in Nursery with him. I don't want him to know that it's okay for Mom or Dad to stay with him in there for the entire 2 hours. So, I walked in there and just dropped him off. I know this probably doesn't work for a lot of kids, but Brayden seems to do okay with other people. He isn't really afraid of strangers (which could be a bad thing.) I handed him off to one of the leaders and left. He did fine the whole time! I checked on him once (just through the peep hole) when I went to go nurse Asher and he was being held by one of the leaders but he was happy. I was really nervous about it because he gets really tired during church since he misses his nap. The leader said he started looking really overwhelmed a couple of times (there are A LOT of kids in the nursery) but I think he was probably just zoning because he was so tired. Overall though she said he did great for him being new! It's going to be nice to be able to actually pay attention again in my classes :)
Another thing for my own record, we finally moved up to size 4 diapers! He has been in size 3 for so long I don't even remember when we started...

Stockings

I've been meaning to post this for a couple weeks but haven't gotten around to it. I was waiting until I could get decent pictures but that never happened so I'll just post what I have. Anyway, I got Asher's stocking done! I finished it a couple weeks ago and was so excited because I really didn't think I'd find the time to get it done before Christmas. I'm so glad I did though!

Here are some pictures...

Pictures

I don't have anything to blog and I don't have any decent pictures either but I wanted to post something!

Running Update

So I don't think I've mentioned running since I blogged that I wanted to start running. It's going good! I've been getting out at least 3 days a week. I can tell that my endurance is building, slowly but surely. I've been trying to find a 5k or 10k that I can set a goal for but have been unsuccessful so far. You'd think they'd have a ton in Portland! The only ones I can find are either on a Sunday or at Midnight of the new year. NO thank you! So if anyone knows of any, let me know!

In order to keep this up, I've been trying to find things that motivate me. The thing that helps me the MOST is having a running buddy! Bethany and I live just under a mile apart from each other. So usually M-W-F we get out running together. It's nice to have a running buddy that lives close enough that we can go running together without having to drive anywhere. (Seems counter productive!) It also helps that she has experience running so she's good at motivating me.

The other thing that motivates me the most is my Nike Plus that I bought. It is so awesome to be able to see how far I've run, how long I've been running, how many calories I've burned, and what my pace is. I'm going to love that I can compare where I was a month ago with today, etc.

I am really excited about this still, which quite honestly I didn't think it would last. But I think that actually investing in it and feeling my endurance slowly build has made me commit to it for awhile.
